Sprint Update

Greetings all, Here's a bit of info about the sprint series. Something people maybe wondering about. This will be very much like the Fl point series from last year. There will be a point system, a womens/mens division and all that good stuff. The race will be ran like a drag racing event. We plan on holding the majority of the race here in Orlando. But if we can work out a ways to involve the sprints with other race that are taking place we will. And just to let everyone know, this is not an orlando cyclist only event, I was asked about that. Also we are gathering helmets for the series, in an afford to keep things as safe as possible. You will not be required to wear a helmet to race, but that will be on site if you so choose to.
Attention all out of town cyclist, in effort to keep the sprints as fair as possible, so everyone is on the same playing field the actually course for each race will not be announced until 12 am the day of the race. But the registration point will be given the week of the race.
Each race wil be $7, the winner will take home a CASH PRIZE! This is very much a put up or shut up event. So go head and start your trash talking (of course, keeping it all friendly). I'm already planning on handing money over to St. pete Pete, so come out and prove me wrong.
Be prepared for a fun series and some curve balls.

A little warmth

I'm not liking this cold that is upon us. I would like it to end soon. Normal I don't care, but late I've won't nothing to do with this weather.
Trying to figure out a better date for the first sprint, so that people can make it to the gainesville race and they can make it out to the sprints. So yea....

Creating a beast

Ok, so HellCats was always meant to be a beast in my mind. Something out of control, running wild in the night. But every beast needs to be controlled abit. So as sad as it makes me I'm holding off on the sprints until next month, because things aren't were i want them. I want this to be something that continues and grows, so I want it to start with a solid foundation. So I will be working my but off between work and the retardness that I always seem to find myself getting into. Look out and Choke On It!

The Quick and The Dead

The HellCats are proud to announce that we will be put on The Quick and The Dead sprint series. Races will be held every month, the Saturday after critical mass. there will be singles and four person teams. if you preregisters as a single it's $50, as a team it's $180. There will be a cash prize for the winner of every race. All races will take place in The Orlando area.

If you don't want to preregister the it's $5 the day of the race. Your just saying yourself a little bit of money if you preregister.
